In my pursuit of living more sustainably, I've not only switched to quality bar soap, but also bar shampoo. Aside from being Earth-friendly, these switches have made traveling so much easier when flying (less liquids to try to squeeze into my quart-size bag)!
So, I'm going to admit that I tried using other aluminum containers for my bars because they were cheaper. However, I quickly learned that was a mistake as I was constantly struggling to keep them from becoming glued to the bottom surface of the container and fighting in the shower to get them dislodged.
I will say, now that I've made the switch to these soap cases, they're worth the extra cost. The tray means the soap doesn't get stuck inside the case and these cases are sturdier.
My only wish is that they were offered in a smaller size. I don't need a full bar of soap or shampoo on my travels and I travel carry-on only, so I like to economize on space as much as possible. I will keep my eyes open in case this becomes available.

This soap dish is light, keeps my soap dry, and best of all isn't plastic! Service was quick and friendly, the price reasonable, and the product of obvious great quality. I'm keeping this one for myself but thinking it would be a great gift for someone.

Bought this so I could take my favorite soap with me white traveling. Worked marvelously! Does an excellent job of keeping soap dry and the bar didn’t stick to the case at all. Just remember to dry your case out before packing up because it is not watertight.
