Sustainability Practices at Hill + House

Our sustainable practices include plastic-free packaging and packing materials, printed packing slips on paper made from sawmill waste chips using wind and hydropower, with eco-tank printer technology to eliminate print cartridges. We also use compostable shipping labels and water-activated kraft paper tape. Our packing materials are made from 50-100% recycled content. All boxes are recycled, and we ensure that all paper and cardboard materials from suppliers are recycled too. We prioritize energy-efficient lighting with daylight and LED bulbs in the office, and we strive to be paperless, except for essential packing slips. As part of our future plans, we aim to implement solar energy at our main office by 2025.
