    Founded in eastern British Columbia by Kaj Gyr, Floworks Design was started with a need to dry plastic bags and make them reusable instead of disposable. He had been using cookware and wooden spoons to prop up his bags for drying but wanted a better solution. He started out making his wooden bag dryer as gifts for friends, and when he settled on a design that was both collapsible and visually appealing, he got a patent. Since then, he's sold countless bag dryers and saves millions of bags from landfills.
